Not judging others by external preconceived notions, he learned early on never to judge a book by its cover, or a person by their title. Always looking for a way to enjoy the best things life has to offer, though that's not to say he's irresponsible, rather, he is simply predisposed to having a good time along the way. This means that for Beau that his self-control isn't exactly something he is known for, but rather his laissez faire attitude.Though his true nature, he's still a Highlander born and raised, he may not be a hardened soldier, but what he lacks in formal soldiering he more than makes up for with his ability to break down a situation and presence. He may not always be sober, but experience as a caravanner and corsair Captain means he is more than able to adjust to the situation if caught flat footed.Good natured, gregarious, and outgoing. These are the fanciful words often used to describe him.. Loud, fun, and passionate are far more common though.

Tanned, Healthy, ScruffyDistinguishing FeaturesTall by most standards, he gives credence to the statement 'bastard son of a Roegadyn' though at the end of the day he's a full blooded highlander, though his mother is technically a Garlean, hailing from Limsa. With a plethora of tattoos and scars that tell the tale of his past across his flesh, his hair has been described as the mane of a Hrothgar on more than one occasion. In full armor he's quite literally a wall of metal, eschewing normal fashion, or more likely due to simply the life style he lives his hair and facial hair while groomed almost always has an unkempt nature to it. His hulking physique is a cross of a professional soldier, or gladiator, merged with that of a bon vivant. With matching callouses upon his large hands that are unmistakable for what they are, telling the story of a marauder's guild member.
History
(This is only a short synopsis)Natural born son of Ala Mhigo, hailing from the Moore Clan. Beau like most purebloods descendant from Anshelm Cotter would have known a life of either bondage or service to the Garlean military if not for fate's chance. When the resistance overthrew the monarchy, and King Manfred was slain, his family and the other clan leaders were face with a choice. Die to the rebels or exile.Opting for exile they put Gyr Abania behind them two generations before Beau was ever conceived, though he would grow up hearing tales from his elders of the Autumn War. The advantage of such was that his family already held deep ties and had established themselves by the time the Garleans overthrew the usurpers, and that while Gyr Abania was his cultural homeland, Limsa Lominsa was his home.Establishing themselves as a clan of marauders and pirates, the clan continued to the modern day. Becoming 'official' privateers of the Maelstrom.With the recent war and history of the world, Beauregard as clan lead has taken their 'official' warrant from the Grand Company of Eorzea and setout to explore the world and joined the banner of the Obsidian Brotherhood to look towards the future.Rising to stature, fame, and infamy, depending on whom one asked, Beauregard rose through the Obsidian Brotherhood to become the Lord High Marshal and head of the Golden Sands, which serves as the public face for the Brotherhood.

For good or ill, its easy to pick out his nationality in a crowd. He's a mountain of a man. Half Garlean.He is the public face of the Golden Sands Trading Company, and considered by most to be the man in charge.Though he can find a reason to be in almost any situation given his nature, just as likely to be found at an apothecary buying potions and elixirs, as he is traipsing through the forest with an axe looking for lumber or even lost.
